Attended Sherburne School until the removal of his parents to West Edmeston, Otsego Co., N.Y. in 1967. Attended Edmeston Central School and later Mount Markham Central School. Served proudly in the Armed Forces for 8 years, eventually leaving the service to attend college. Attended the University of Maryland, European Division, completing an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Information System Management. Attended Bowie State University, European Division, completing a Master of Science in Management Information Systems. Currently employed as a Technical Writer with Bruker BioSpin GmbH, Rheinstetten, Germany.

Hobbies include genealogy, gardening, woodworking, running, and collecting John Deere tractors.
